国庆长假已过，两个月就又这么溜走了，新的一次Ruby Party的筹备工作也提上日程了。对于这一次的活动，我们有一些新的尝试：

活动时间

在上一次的活动中，不少朋友因为工作日晚上不方便参加活动，建议将活动改到周末白天，所以这次我们暂定把活动定在这个月的最后一个周六下午。以下是具体信息：

活动主题

以往的活动都是靠各位到场朋友现场提供主题甚至即兴演讲，这次我们希望事先收集确认好活动的主题（主题会通过报名表收集），以便我们能够更早地跟到场朋友做好沟通并且公布主题。当然，我们依旧不会拒绝现场报名的主题或者即兴演讲。

2014年第一次GZRUBY聚会，也是我们第17次GZRUBY活动, 将于周三，3月26号晚上19:00在地点举行。

除了广州本地的Rubyist之外，本次我们还欢迎来自云梯的kgen (Kgen Bao)，以及来自上海的jasli2，相信他们的加入会让本次聚会的内容更加精彩。

这次是2014年第二次GZRUBY活动。上一次GZRUBY，我们与北京，上海，成都和深圳的小伙伴们一起联合举办了Rails Girls活动。 在此要感谢教练们跟志愿者们付出的努力。非常谢谢他们，同时也期待下一次的Rails Girls。

上个月，我们小组的部分成员很荣幸的参加了RubyConf China， 借此机会，我们将继续举办广州的小型Ruby聚会.对于这次的主题大家有什么建议？Ruby 2.0 技术？Rails 4 更新？新的 Gem ？新的测试框架？在使用什么样的技术或工具？让我们聚在一起分享吧。 Last month we had a few members travel to RubyConf China. Rails 4.0 Final Version released in last month, have anyone tried it in production? Or you are developing more in the Single Page App direction with Ember.js, Backbone.js or Angujar.js? Do bring your awesome slides/tips to GZRUBY.

Two moons have passed, its ruby time again! This month’s gzruby meetup will be held next Wednesday, March 20th at the Kudelabs offices, starting at 7:30.

Huge news since the last meetup - RUBY2.0.0 was released! As well as a security patch to 1.9.3. And on top of all of this excitement, Rails 4.0 is truly around the corner, as the first beta was just released!

Yes, check your calenders! It’s ruby time folks. This month’s gzruby meetup will be held next Wednesday, Jan 16th at the Kudelabs offices, starting at 7:30.

最近我们遇到了很多刺激的事情。Rails在短短几天内发布了两个紧急安全补丁，分别是SQL 注入漏洞; XML 参数解析漏洞。另外Ruby也发布了最新的1.9.3升级：ruby1.9.3-p362。 仅仅这些都够我们忙活好一阵的了。

We’ve had a bit of excitement recently, with two security updates in quick succession. First the SQL Injection vulnerability, then the XML params vulnerability. Don’t forget a new ruby patchlevel just came out as well, ruby1.9.3-p362. These should all keep us busy for the rest of the week testing and upgrading our deployed servers.

同时在我们的邮件列表也有人在讨论怎么更好的组织聚会，怎么让我们变得更好。其中有一个建议是每次聚会都提出一个主题，以便让我们更好的组织演讲内容。这个月的主题是关于Asset Pipeline的使用。你是怎么在你的项目运用它的？SASS, SCSS, LESS? Bootstrap, YUI？如果你想分享你的经验的话，那就赶紧准备好你的演讲吧！

There’s also been some discussion on the mailing list about how to organize these meetings and make our community better. One suggestion was to give each meeting a theme, to make it easier for people to suggest topics. This month’s theme will be Asset Pipeline. How do you use it for your project? SASS, SCSS, LESS? Bootstrap, YUI? Bring your best practices, tips and tricks for us to share and learn from.
